  • The Photics folding@home team, which is made up of mostly Guild Wars players, is nearing the 3,000 mark. The team is in the top 2.2% of all folding teams. The folding@home team number is 60254. Other Guild Wars players are invited to join the team. By using your computer’s down time, you can help scientific researchers better understand protein folding, which may help lead to cures for deadly diseases.   • MMO Fury announced the winner of their contest, “The Top 5 Reasons You Play Guild Wars.”

  • Blade Radio is hosting two events this October. The first is an interview with Yt Cracker on October 4. They will also be hosting Nights of the Minipets from October 30 to November 1, during which they will give away over 300+ Miniatures.   • The LaZy Nation Alliance will host their Oktoberfest 2008 event on Saturday, October 18, 2008 at 4:00 PM EST.
