PlayNC Master Account

Signing up for a PlayNC Master Account is quick, free and simple. Once signed up, you can use your Master Account to purchase game codes, download game clients and apply for Beta tests on future NCsoft games. In addition, your Master Account is used to manage all your game accounts within one simple interface; you can add new games, edit existing subscriptions or change your personal information.

Creating a PlayNC Master Account

  • Go to www.PlayNC.com.

  • Click the ’Account‘ link on the left hand navigation and then click the ’Create‘ link that appears below it.

  • Fill in the requested account and password information and click ’Next‘.

  • On the following screen, enter your personal information (including a valid email address), and click ’Next‘.

  • You should now receive a verification email containing a unique code, enter this code back on PlayNC and click ’Next‘.

  • Confirm your details, sign up to the PlayNC newsletter if you wish and click ’Confirm‘.

  • All done! You’re now the proud owner of a PlayNC Master Account - you can now purchase a code online or if you already have a game, add it to your account.

Managing your game accounts

If you need to edit any account or billing information, for example your password, you can login to your PlayNC Master Account and select ’Account Details‘ on the game account you wish to change.

In order to reset your password, just press the ’Reset Password‘ button. You will be required to enter your date of birth and choose a new password for your game account.

Accessing the Guild Wars in-game store

In order to access the official Guild Wars in-game store, you must first associate your game account with a PlayNC Master Account. If you haven’t yet signed up for a Master Account, you can do so in-game.

Please note: It is very important that you use your correct PlayNC details as they are permanently associated. If you enter them incorrectly you will be unable to access the store.

Managing your PlayNC Master Account

If you have forgotten your PlayNC Master Account password, please visit the login screen of PlayNC and click on the ’Forgot Password‘ link in the lower left corner. You will be asked for your (PlayNC) account name and your birthday. Click ’Submit‘ and you will be asked to answer the secret question you entered when signing up for your account.

If you have any problems regarding your PlayNC Master Account, head over to the Knowledge Base for answers to more common issues. If you fail to find a solution, please submit a ticket to the NCsoft Europe Customer Support team. In order to speed up the process of answering your query, please give as much information as possible, including;

  • Your PlayNC login name only

  • Your full name

  • Your birthday

  • Your address (Street, City, Country)

  • The 20 or 25 digit serial codes of your game accounts
