The Guild Wars Client is linked from this page. The client will allow you to set up your Guild Wars account under the following circumstances:

  • You will be attending a special pre-release event, such as the Factions Preview Event in March, 2006. (You may download the client at any time prior to the event and be ready to go when the event begins.)

  • You purchased Guild Wars through PlayNC or another authorized retailer that provides the access key but not the game CD.

  • You wish to install Guild Wars on a different or updated computer and do not have your game CD handy.

Note, the Guild Wars Client is not a playable demo. It is only useful in the event that you own a Guild Wars account or have an access key for a Guild Wars event.
